Samsung T929 Memoir
One of my close friend has this amazing handset which is really very attractive as I found. Samsung T929 Memoir is a quite easy to operate handset that offers good multimedia capabilities. The 3G data speed in the 400 to 450kbps range, which is appreciable and the music player is more than capable enough. Inspite of the available bandwidth, the gadget never felt particularly speedy during web tasks or when picking up emails. But for most of the people, it will be the Memoir’s 8 megapixel camera that cinches the deal. It is one of the best cameras available on a handset today.
In terms of multimedia, the handset does quite good. The camera is very efficient, allowing features like a xenon flash and smile detection modes that actually work. We tested the music player on this mobile phone by loading up the included 1GB micro SD card with a couple of music albums through a PC. The transfer of the songs from PC to handset was done in no time. The music player of the phone I found very good as the sound quality was amazing. Playlists can be created directly on the gadget, as well. An included pair of corded stereo headphones can be used with this mobile phone.
The Samsung T929 Memoir has a very simple touchscreen slab design. Its 400×240 pixel resistive touchscreen influences the front of the phone, which is bare but for the face sensor that placed above it and the call make, call end, and back keys that placed beneath it. This phone is made from sturdy feeling materials and seems to be very solid.
The contacts system in the gadget is perfectly featured, and the quick access buttons for messaging and calling in the contact list are very handy which allows fast messaging and dialing. The voice dialing function on this mobile phone works perfectly. The device provides a virtual 12 key T9 predictive keypad for text input when held normally, and a full QWERTY keypad when held in landscape mode
